Hey all, Is it possible to put an OpenVSwitch between local VM's on a
compute host and its local vRouter so that VM's use the local vRouter and
if that fails or crashes, OpenVSwitch connects the VM's to a vRouter on
another compute host nearby? Trying to solve for potential vRouter
crashing...

The path to where the disk files are kept I believe is
var/lib/nova/instances. That's different than the default path used by kvm
outside the context of OpenStack.
Or try searching for libvirt.xml and you'll find the disks in the same
directory/ies.

I hate requests like this but I've been asked one again how to bind a
single vm to a physical NIC on a cookout node. Kicking and screaming I've
tried to steer them away from this bad decision with no luck. So I have to
ask, is this even possible within Openstack? I'm sure it's technically
