They say: that's what RPM's are for. Compile with shared libs: Add shared to the config line. Read The Fine Manual, it's explained in the readme file. If it keeps on whining after make install you might need to rename some files. I never tried to copy from another box, I'm just to lazy to do s

Hi, Just a FWIW: After installing OpenSSL-0.9.6e on my fresh Slackware 8.1 I tried to install OpenSSH. It gave me a: "Your OpenSLL headers do not match your library." Since no other suggestion I found on the web worked I started looking at the filenames.. changed libcryto.so.0.9.6 and libcryto.
