Hi, Just a FWIW: After installing OpenSSL-0.9.6e on my fresh Slackware 8.1 I tried to install OpenSSH. It gave me a: "Your OpenSLL headers do not match your library." Since no other suggestion I found on the web worked I started looking at the filenames.. changed libcryto.so.0.9.6 and libcryto.so.0.9.6 to libcryto.so.0.9.6e and libssl.so.0.9.6e After this OpenSSH compiled without a problem..
