How did you recreate the LU's?
It's been a bit since I was doing anything with LUN's (I can't recall if I
tested volume migration/rollback w/vmware); but my personal documentation has a
note for recreating volumes using stmfadm instead of sbdadm; specifically :
stmfadm create-lu -p guid=*LUN

I recently migrated two COMSTAR LUs with zvol backs across pools on the
same OI host with 'zfs send -R snap | zfs recv -d pool'. On the new pool,
I re-created the SBD LUs with the appropriate zvols and added views with
the pre-existing host groups and target group. ESXi sees both FC devic
I realised suddenly that /usr/lib/localedef/src and everything
underneath is removed from Openindiana (and Illumos).
When things like this happen, are they or the rationale behind the
change documented anywhere?
I'd like to understand.
