Hi,
At present the only package that I have from the OpenSolaris repository
is the Indiana Getting Started Guide which I never look at. Going
forward is there any requirement to have the OpenSolaris repository
listed in the Package Manager, would it be safe to delete?

You should disable graphics, and enable verbose boot. Maybe this
gives you more information.

After much good advice given on my previous queries, I have decided to
purchase an N40L server and migrate to it.
I have a few questions, but first, the set up.
