I understand that. I will try to reproduce it; maybe on a fresh install using a
virtual machine.
BTW on my Chromebook with Ubuntu installed using Crouton it looks fine.

I think it has been fixed in Qt 4.5.
The relevant bug: 230372 - QPrinter::setNumCopies() misbehavior
