Adam Meily <meily.a...@gmail.com> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |meily.a...@gmail.com --- Comment #72 from Adam Meily <meily adam gmail com> 2011-03-17 07:27:01 --- I can confirm this bug with a networked Brother printer. I set the printer's settings to automatically rotate documents (System Settings -> Printer Configuration -> [My Printer] -> Job Options -> Orientation -> Automatic Rotation). I can print portrait PDFs just fine. Landscape documents automatically set themselves as landscape in the print dialog (which is correct) but they print as portrait. It is only until I set the orientation to portrait in the print dialog that the page prints correctly (as landscape). I am using Kubuntu (if it matters). Qt: 4.7.0 KDE Development Platform: 4.6.1 (4.6.1) Okular: 0.12.1 OpEd: I think this bug is annoying and needs to be fixed but I think it is unfortunate the way some have reacted to this bug. I recently installed a new USB printer (not the one listed in this comment) and all I did was turn the printer on, plug it in, and it just worked with KDE. The time and effort that has been put into the printing system of KDE is amazing and I am truly appreciative for that. The fact that I could plug in my USB printer and have it just work without any configuration is amazing and shows how much time the developers of KDE have put into the various subsystems. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ Okular-devel mailing list Okular-devel@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/okular-devel
