Ann,
Because you already log-tranformed your data, you may want to change
SIG1*IPRED to SIG1 for DUM.
I'm guessing the combination of ALAG and SIG1*IPRED is causing problem.
DUM = (LOQ-IPRED)/(SIG1)

Dear NM users,
I'm working on a PK model in renal disease patients with hemodialysis. The
drug in healthy subjects is well described with a first-order absorption and
one-compartment disposition model. A third hemodialysis compartment was added;
CMT=3 or -3 were included in the data set to tu

I think it may be a problem with identifiability. It can't separate the

Dear Xiao,
I agree with Jun's advise. You previous setting should not work as when you
switch the compartment 3 off nothing changes for compartment 2

If the hemodialysate is being directly analyzed then the ON/OFF feature can be

Dear Pierre-Olivier,
I think once you defined ALAG(1)=THETA() (as Luann suggested), the system will
delay your input. You don't have to specify anything in the $DES block. It's
worth trying.
$PK
ALAG(1)=THETA()

DADT(1)=(DOSE/V)*INPUT-K*A(1)
