Anyone from Sling Media on NANOG? If so, can you please contact me off-list? We

grief for our mutual customers.

enterprise based networks, and not so much as a service provider.

That's an excellent question, Freddie. I am also interested in what people are
using for WISP Infrastructure. We also use Motorola PTP, Canopy, as well as
Airstream, Ubiquiti, Trango, and WaveRider.

Does anyone have any data on how the memorial event for Michael Jackson effected
the global backbones? This was seen as another inaugural type of traffic day to
most of the people I've talked to.

it. I'm sure AT&T is probably blocking it for the same reason. 4chan has been
under attack for over 3 weeks, the attacks filling up an entire GigE. If you
want to blame anyone, blame the script kiddies who pull this kind of stunt.

It seems like my blocking of 207.126.64.181 is pointless, because Level3 is also
blocking the entire net 207.127.64.0.
All I can say is.. oh well. Nothing we can do about it.

Jamie,
Unfortunately, that's not easy with wireless backbones. The customers don't have
their own "port". I also know for fact that 4chan is in the process of moving,
so what you're seeing could just be that. Them moving.

u can check their status page and see most of the entries revolve
around them being down because of DDoS attacks.

Hey everyone. I didn't really want to ask this out here, but wasn't sure
who else I could ask, but does anyone here have BGP setup with AT&T as

Just to chime in on this subject. We're at Equinix in San Jose. For
access to the peering at their facility, they charge a $1000 MRC Fee,
plus another $250 MRC for a cross-connect for GE port. I believe they
also charge a $1000 NRC fee as well. Private peering would be an option

We use Cisco WS-3560G-24-PS-S (Catalyst 3560G's with POE Ports). Provides POE on
each port too to eliminate having to use POE bricks to radios. We actually give
each AP it's own group. It's better to break them all up rather than keep them
in their own broadcast domain, because from subscriber to s

The tsunami center has cancelled the warnings for Hawaii (so I just heard from
