this is not a major issue. does it make sense to
change? is there One True Mailbox Format? are there scripts
to convert?

this happens all the time for me with just about all my mailboxes.
it's very frustrating and about to cause me to abandon mutt (0.95.6i).
can anyone shed some light on how to fix this problem?

a minor problem i have with maildir is that not all mail-related apps
come with maildir support out-of-the-box. i'm immediately thinking
of procmail (though a nice patc

new devel version. It's running with 1.3.25.
S/MIME support for a mail reader is a make or break thing for me and
it's one (of the many) things that make mutt really stand out vs so many
of those other mail readers.
