I meant to refer to the first paragraph about his problem with cursor

I get a list of all my (qmail) maildirs by pressing 'c' and
then three tabs. Now, the cursor is at the number 1 maildir
(the one at the top).

I added an account to allow the web pages to be modified
by a new maintainer, and unfortunately changed ownership
on the .qm

so ignored them as they weren't owned by the account
