Humblest apologies. My ignorance shall be archived forever for all
generations to see! :)

PS I have only been using Mutt for two weeks but I am now a total convert. :)
Hi Ban,
I started using mutt just on couple of weeks ago on a new(ish) Redhat 6.2 box using
mutt-1.0.1i-6.i386.rpm. Anyhoo, although this package installs /etc/Muttrc it is either
ignored or broken. I got color with
cp /usr/doc/mutt-1.0.1i/sample.muttrc ~/.muttrc
Hope this helps :)

On
these methods seem so clumbsy. I am sure there must be a better
way. I have read the docs but I didn't see anything. Does mutt expect me to
use an external program for this?
Thanks

Hi,
Can I set the From: field easily in mutt or must I fiddle with sendmail?
I posted a couple of newby messages the other day and I like to thank everyone
who helped so much. Many of my problems seem to be related to using the Redhat 6.2
rpm. When I get time I will start again with the source
mutt save my 'sent mail'.
I really thing that I must be missing some important piece of documentation which
helps new users get oriented with mutt's philosophy.
Thanks
Rob Watkin
