Hiya.
I'm looking for a way to put empty headers in an email messages so that
when I compose a new message, the header fields are there for me.
I thought I could do this using my_hdr but I'm apparently wrong. I
couldn't find anything in the manual.
I example of what I want to do is:
my_hdr X-T
Hi,
The only way I've found to 'forward' an email with MIME attachments
remaining as attachments in the forwarded message is to 'bounce' the
email, which is undesirable.
No combination of mime_forward_decode, forward_decode, and mime_forward
seem to do what I want.
Any advice?
Thanks,
Steve

How could I turn off highlighting( from/date fields in the header;
email-addresses in the body? How could I turn off blinking thread markers?
( currently green blinking ). I had 0.93.2( in RedHat 5.2 ) version;
it was with it everything OK. .muttrc didn't changed.
Thanks

Hi,
This may seem like a stupid question, but is it possible to "move" messages
from one folder to another? I know I can copy messages, or a group of
tagged messages, but then I have to delete them in the current folder, and
they show up as new (with the 'N' flag) in the folder I moved them to.

There is a setting called "timeout" that tells Mutt how lo
What's involved with setting up new mail notification? Here's
what I have in my .muttrc:
set mail_check=10
mailboxes ! `echo $HOME/Mail/*`
It doesn't seem to notice new mail in my spoolfile. If I'm
inside the spoolfile, the new mail shows up when I hit a key. Is
it possible to get it to sho

Hi,
can mutt be configured to be minimally invasive when it's MIME-encoding header
lines? I.e. it should only encoded the words which need encoding and not the
whole string after the keyword (even if only the last word needs an encoding).
Best regards

I'm a relatively new mutt user, driven to it not for
any of the reasons given on the WWW page, rather its
native Maildir support (Go Qmail!).
There are a few minor and random questions I have after
several weeks of operation. I will give them one at a time...
1. I get an error message from the

That's in my .muttrc,
