Marsh Lake is near Appleton or the Town of Correll, 30 miles west of Montevideo. It’s a pretty big lake so the best place to see shorebirds is on the western end here are the coordinates to this area. ( 45.2182461, -96.1956195). If you want to get close you will need water boots and you’ll want to

Back in mid-July, we had the most shorebird luck at Marsh Lake on T-156 running south off Hwy 7. There were two good spots facing west along T-156, best in the morning. There is another viewing point at the end of 271st Ave, north of Hwy 34 and near the dam. Look for a "Public Water Access" sig
