Yes, I've read the warning label, and I know that dynamically loading
assemblies is somewhat discouraged. That said, I have an application that
loads assemblies - that's just how it works. It works fine on Windows. Works
fine on Windows CE. I need it to "work fine" on Android, even if it tak

As a separate, but probably equally import part of this is where on earth are
my app files when I install an APK anyway? I get the feeling they remain in
the APK and are squirreled away somewhere on the device. Is there any

The problem is in my semantics. I tend to call classes that I have back in the
model that provide specific functionality "Services" (and the get added into my
IoC framework's Services collection). It's not a Proper Android Service. It's
