Per the following blog post:

I'm requesting to adopt these two modules.
Thanks,
Steve
In addition to my email yesterday regarding adopting
Acme::CPANAuthors::Canadian and WWW::FreeProxyListsCom, I'd also like to
adopt WWW::ProxyChecker if possible.
My PAUSE ID is STEVEB.

Steve
Said module has had an outstanding bug (
https://rt.cpan.org/Public/Bug/Display.html?id=98029) since v5.20. It uses
CGI, but this module is not listed as a prereq, and since CGI was removed
from core, this module fails on 5.20+.
I'd like to get this issue corrected. I attempted to contact the

Just a follow up to check the status of my request below.
The problem still persists, and I haven't heard anything from the current
maintainers.
Cheers,
Steve

Then, I went on to name the next version 2.36.1, not realizing that this
version is less than 2.36. I went in thr

the cpan.org's "Recent Uploads" page, yet it doesn't show up under my
STEVEB page, nor is it available through cpanm.

Thanks!

I'd really like to get these two new distributions available.
Thanks,
Steve

Although this seems to be an insignificant module, I, and at least one
other still uses it. I have requested aid in either fixing or taking
over this project three times in the last two years. This will be my
last attempt as to not become a nuisance.
