Hi.
I have a written a module which provides a generic interface
to the color/attribute capabilites of some common terminal
types, mainly VT102/ANSI and the Windows command window Console.
It also (currently) targets an HTML generator backend, and a
"no op" backend which simply ignores color/attrib
e the
problem of potential collision; the names should be unique, whether
they're under Apps:: or not. Tracker:: might do.

think Lingo ought to be in the name.
And since Lingo is specific to a proprietary product, that also ought
to be in the name (thus ruling out Director and Multimedia, as being
too general). And the Macromedia namespace might be considered to be
reserved a priori by the company. That leaves Shockwave::Lingo.

What would Gabrielle do?
cuments were present on the latter but not the former.
Something smells stale...

It's also easier to withhold forgiveness than to deny permission.
Please register my module, Crypt::RandPasswd.
Info on the module is at:

The name was sanctioned in:

Thanks.

ndPasswd.
Then, if no one has any other opinions, I'll go with Crypt::RandPasswd.

Just another perky hacker.
ainst the adage, "names
should not say HOW", but in this case, many of the module's
potential users will be looking specifically for an implementation
of this standard, since it is *required* in some gov't agencies.
I'm also not sure what top-level to put it under; maybe
I have taken John Walker's famous "demoroniser" program
and converted it into a module.
HTML::Demoroniser ok?

but maybe Statistics::SimpleGoodTuring
is better... or -- yuck -- Statistics::GoodTuring::Simple.
Opinions?
