specify on the
command line to get WAV files done correctly?
I have tested an existing WAV with mp2enc and it works fine.
Video encoding is working fine and quite fast (I'm using an
Athlon64 3000+, so it should!), but I need something other
than static or silence to mplex video with! :-)
Kind r
e the AUX input to record audio with lavrec?
Googling hasn't found an answer yet...

size alone (when compared to the original wav file), i
think it is in fact 24 bit. how do i test the lpcm

XP1800+ & 512Mb RAM. I have tried two sets of drivers for the sound so
far - NVIDIAs ones - at http://www.nvidia.com & the ones available from
http://www.opensound.com. Perhaps I'll try ALSA next...
I use the NVIDIA graphics drivers as they seem to be the only ones that
rate. This doesn't appear to cause a
problem though - as the other tools reduce it to 44.1Khz before it gets
burnt to VCD. My soundcard is the one which is bundled with the Asus
A7N266-E motherboard using the Nvidia NForce chipset.
Also attached XP1800+ & 512MB ram.
More testing...
If anyone can help with this it would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Chris B-W.
