Hi all,
I have a 3.6 release macppc with ipsec patches applied and a 3.7 release

This has been forced into a production environment so I cant carry out
full tests until the weekend.
Everything works perfectly without issue, but only if I start isakmpd as

Hi all,
trying to configure a laserjet 1022 on 3.7 release so that win xp
clients can print to it.
the client machine is listed in hosts.lpd and has a valid hosts entry.
Starting with an empty queue I try and do a windows test page. The
errors are generated and a 0 byte job is in the queue.

Uhh, are you filtering with PF?

no, no filtering in place
Probably worth mentioning that this problem isnt printer specific.
I have exactly the same result with a laserjet 3030

Hi all,
I have a Netra X1 trying to connect a modem to ttyb for use with Hylafax.
The modem isnt getting detected at all.
This maybe a cabling issue as I am using a rj45 to db9 adaptor

Hi all,
I have used mpg321 and mp3blaster to continuously loop a randomised
playlist.
The machine does nothing else so the cpu utilisation of mp3blaster
doesnt matter.
Does any one know of anything that is designed to work in daemon mode.
Both the above products seem a little unpredictable

No, that's not it. I just clipped the wrong part of my dmesg.

Maybe because you are using the RAMDISK kernel? Try switching to

Is there any way of limiting access to pptpd from pocket pc clients ?

/usr/ports/net/poptop works excellently.
pf needs to allow protocol 47 and tcp 1723 plus need to allow traffic
for specific tunnels created tun0 tun1 etc.
Generally the client will determine whether to use the created link as
default route. If using windows check the tcp/ip

Ok, I decided to switch from using a little Linksys 802.11b parallel

Printing locally works fine but I'm having trouble printing from XP.

Hi all,
This has been asked a truck load of times in the archives but I havent
found a solution.
HP DL server fans ran flat out all the time.
Any way of slowing them up and quieting them down ?
Does the new ACPI stuff have any impact on this.

This is way off topic I know but some feedback would be appreciated.
I currently capture video from several remote sites using dlink dcs900w

The application saves the video in avi format. The windows app is
