I hope that developers will include support for these devices.

Hi, Luis!
Low performance with filesystems still big problem in OpenBSD.
Did You compare linux and OpenBSD without encryption ?
Results will help to localize problem, is it in encryption engine or in overall
filesystem performance.
My simple tests on vmware virtual machines:
both machines are wi
May be, your host system too old, and in -current system header files has
changed significantly.
Compare files in /usr/include/sys and /usr/src/sys/sys (check other headers too)
Or download and install -current as host for building.

Hi, Group!
GENERIC kernel from OpenBSD5.1 to current hangs at boot,
trace pointed to acpivout. I've commented acpivout in kernel config,
kernel boots successfully, but X seems unstable and CPU runs
at lowest speed.

Hi, Group!
What caused to limit the maximum of data 8Gb for amd64 architecture?
Where we may have difficulty if to increase this value to 16-20GB?
I've edited /sys/arch/amd64/include/vmparam.h for
#define MAXDSIZ ((paddr_t)16*1024*1024*1024)/* max data size */
Now system works and a
page and
http://www.openbsd.org/security.html
That is all.
Good luck

I hope that anyone would ever find time for a little cleaning.
Propose to close the topic, since debugging scripts is purely technical work.

Seems, authors rc.conf forgotten (or did not for some reason) to load portmap
when nfs_server is marked on.
Or nfsd now works without portmap ?
(rc.conf unchanged: $OpenBSD: rc.conf,v 1.167 2012/04/01 18:32:51 deraadt Exp $)
# uname -a
OpenBSD obsd52x64.vm.mike-i7.kmv 5.2 GENERIC.MP#5 amd64
# cat
I see, compatibility section overwrites what was entered before.
Two blocking light switches are very comfortable in a long corridor,
but i can't understand why 2 switches are where it affects on security.

Hi, misc !
I've changed /etc/rc.conf to run portmap at startup:
portmap_flags=""# for normal use: ""
But it not running after boot, see below:
# uname -a
OpenBSD obsd52.vm.serv2.kmv 5.2 GENERIC.MP#19 i386
# rpcinfo -p 127.0.0.1
rpcinfo: can't contact portmapper: RPC: Remote system error
