Well, I needed the exact same thing and did it with pure-ftpd[1] via the
command-line option "-p 5:50400" and an pf.conf entry like "pass in
on $if tcp from any to $if port 5:50400". Maybe this is an option
for you
nderstand why 'pfctl -vsl' does only show numbers in its first column
but zeros in all other columns (so I can see the label-name, the
evaluations and after that only a 0 for every (packet|byte|
whatever)-total)!?

I'm trying to block p2p traffic via pf on OpenBSD 3.x.
Unfortunately, all new p2p-clients are able to use dynamic ports or even
(ab-)use http-ports etc. so blocking well known p2p-ports is not enough.
