Claudio, I would find out who maintains the mate port, and redirect/forward
this thread to ports@ and CC that maintainer so the people behind the port are
properly informed of this issue.

As of OpenBSD 7.6-current, Caja on MATE Desktop does not load the
desktop nor does it load when the Caja icon is selected.
Checking .xsession-errors shows the following:
ld.so: caja: can't load library 'libgtk-layer-shell.so.1.0'

I have an old Behringer BCF 2000 generic MIDI controller which refuses to
work on my DeskMini X300-based computer running OpenBSD 7.6. When I turn
on the controller, it is (mal)discovered in the following way:
