Hello,
My laptop's integrated wifi adapter is not supported by OpenBSD.
Can anybody suggest a USB adapter that doesn't stick out of the port very
far?
Ideally I'd like one that protrudes less than a centimeter. There are
several on amazon but technical details are scarce.
Many thanks,
Laurenc

I can confirm the same as James regarding the 19th April snapshot. I
confirmed the same firmware is successfully used in Ubuntu and also
manually downloaded the latest firmware, so believe it to be a driver
issue.
Full details can be found in my post to bugs.
James, I ordered an EW-7811Un USB ada
I have this same card and have the same issues as the original poster. I
tested on an April 19 amd64 snapshot.
Does anyone know if anyone is looking into adding support for this card?

Hi,
Not sure if multicast routing is related with this since it's a single host,
but check netstart(8) and search fo

Thank you everybody.
I just noticed the urtwn man page and ordered an EW-7811Un.
Strange that this driver is not mentioned on the hardware platforms
web page; that will teach me that the man pages are the definitive
documentation!

OK, A few more tests done. It seems it is the multicast being blocked.
If I use carppeer then it starts to
work and I can see packets on the vlan interface with tcpdump.
So here is my ifconfig setup:
# ifconfig -a

priority: 0
