We've using Access Eforms (www.accesseforms.com) very successfully for
ALL of our forms(admissions, nursing, AP checks, UB04 and 1500 claims)
for over 2 years now. No elf chips, just normal laser printers. We even
print color forms as well out of Meditech. It can even print forms to

Interbitdata's NetDelivery. We've used it for years, and found that it
has many (!) more functions than just a fax server. We use it as our
backup Emar printer, save our entire MPI twice a month to a server for

We have been using Interbitdata to do this for years. Is FA not able to
do this? We also do not have to pay for additional Smart Routes, as they
are included (unlimited) as well. This has allowed us to use this saved
money on other projects.

Doug, that's good info. With Interbitdata, routes are free, and I can
set them up in 3 minutes or less on my server, and talk a non-technical
person through the setup at the clinic end over the phone after
e-mailing them the client. (if we are talking about the same process)..

Cory, we have an EVA5000 from HP which also houses our Fuji PACS,
ImageNow document imaging system, our Data Repository flowing to there,
and our Access Eforms repository files. Certainly not just a Meditech
SAN at all.

We currently have a two Windows Terminal Server cluster that is running
250 Thin Client and TS connections. In testing, I have had 350+
individual sessions running on a single DL360 HP server. The servers
each have 8GB of RAM, as that is the piece that gets used most, not
necessarily the processor

One thing you'll find with the new 4.20d version of the Workstation, is
you will only be able to 'SET AS DEFAULT' once, and then that option
will be grayed out, and you cannot change that default. I was told this

Al, you can also use NetPrint, which is a faxing solution, but allows
you to set up an outside e-mail as a 'printer'. We've been using it for
years. Scheduling to it is as easy as adding a spool group attached to
that 'printer'. We are Magic.
