For those of you LIVE with an orders interface from a physician EMR, how
do you handle the following situations?
1) RAD orders that need to be scheduled
2) LAB routine orders that can be drawn at any time over the next
couple weeks at any drawing station

Hi Minnie,
We shut this off earlier this year and do not broadcast anything. For
your situation, you would set ER to "Y" in MIS location. Have no
autobroadcast priorities enter in the LAB customer defined parameters
and each test would need PALL entered on page 2. This is a lot of work.

Hi all,
We have a hospitalist program that provides coverage from 8 am to 11 pm Monday
- Friday. Because the hospitalists do not provide care after hours and on
weekends, we have been using the patient's PCP as the "attending" and these
hospitalists are covering for the PCP. They associated t
Gail,
I am not sure if you are C/S or Magic, but you have the ability to
include the Include Verified Date/Time on a report. It is in the lab,
mic, bbk result format dictionaries. An idea is to create a new inquiry

We are having an issue with determining how to handle add on LAB testing with a

Good morning,

Good Morning,
We are Magic 5.5 and are starting planning for CPOE next year. I was wondering
how people are handling add on lab orders with CPOE. It is unrealistic to

Good Afternoon!
Does anyone have solutions/reports to answer the questions related to the new
CAP patient safety goals? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!
The CAP checklist now has a list of patient safety goals. These goals include:
