We print those and manually scan them via Valco into MEDITECH (Magic) PCI. We asked Valco to automate the process (i.e., eliminate manual intervention) and they quoted about $30K to do this. It takes two people about 5 hours each for each day of ER activity. That actually justifies the hefty Valco price tag but I was wondering if anybody knows of other vendors we can talk to or if anyone created their own solution for getting pdf files into PCI? Thanks!
