The wireless scanners will not bleed over to other rooms because they are paired to the cradle they are docked at. The cradle has a barcode which can be scanned to sync it to that cradle. We are using the Symbol (tethered) LS4208 and love them. We use mostly COWS for which the standard cable works well but we did purchase some extension cables from them for our CSICU because they already had PC's at each bedside which they wanted to continue to use but needed a longer cable. I have
