I often have multiple tabs open in Mailmate. However, if I quit and
reopen Mailmate each of those tabs becomes a single window. Is there a
way to get Mailmate to merge all windows every time it opens?

I had tried that. As it turns out I needed a newer build.
I am not setting it up at the server level because the emails come from
multiple accounts. This way I can establish one set of rules.

Is it possible to use rules (or if necessary a smart mailbox) to
