Hi,
I use eyetv, which from what I can gather is the only software available. I
think there used to be another one, but I can't remember it's name, and can't
find it anyway. EyeTV is from Elgato systems, and is almost completely
inaccessible. You can watch live TV, and you can with some muck
Whilst I would totally agree with you normally, and hesitate to enter into such
a discussion, I think Qwitter is a brilliant application, and I would certainly
love to see it, or something like it on the mac. I use Yorufukurou at the
moment, and have not yet tried anything else. I find it a bi
Hi,
I don't know about the iPad, but it works fine on the iPhone, and not at all
under lion!!! Every time I try to input anything, it takes all of the letters
as their words. Forexample, the word "mail" comes up as "moreailike".
Very strange!

When you start the machine for the first time, it should automatically after
some time, give you the start voiceover thing. If this doesn't happen, booting
from the snowleopard dvd should start voiceover, again wait a few minutes for
it to start talking. I could be wrong but that should happen
It threw up an error when I tried to install it! Very strange.

In my opinion getting dvds into itunes on the mac is easier than under windows.
The only down-side to using a mac as your entertainment hub is that TV is very
difficult, if not impossible to access. There seems to be only one aplication
for tv watching on the mac, EyeTV, and it's absolutely us
My understanding is that if you buy the british voices, you get Heather in the

If you follow the link to the "I can work this thing" page, it shows up and

I'm not sure that you can record live. What I do is import from the video
camera, and it imports in a series of clips. You then copy the clips from the
event view into the clips list on the project view, and then you can share your
project. It sort of works, but it's not as accessible as it c

Hi,
I did the same thing, as my original media centre pc started falling over about
6 months ago. I've had a macbook pro since the beginning of the year, and got
an EyeTV when I got my macbook. The software isn't at all accessible with VO.
You can watch TV, but you can't set up recordings or
Hi,
I have been using Tuxera NTFS (don't know if I've spelled it correctly), but it
doesn't yet appear to work under lion. I think they're working on it though.

Missing sync for windows mobile was what I used to use with my sony xperia.

It appears to me to be the same as the previous versions. There a couple of
sliders which aren't given names, but I think they're volume controls for the
individual devices you're sending to! Very cool, I love airfoil

What format is your external drive in? OSX won't natively write to NTFS
formatted drives, however it will read them.

When I set up my mac mini, I had nothing connected, not even a pair of
