When you start the machine for the first time, it should automatically after 
some time, give you the start voiceover thing.  If this doesn't happen, booting 
from the snowleopard dvd should start voiceover, again wait a few minutes for 
it to start talking.  I could be wrong but that should happen.  I was surprised 
to discover that my bluetooth keyboard which I had been using for months on my 
Macbook Pro worked on my mac mini with no configuration or anything, and in 
fact worked while installing windows on bootcamp!
