Respectfully . Maybe you were moving files or folders from one drive
letter to another. So if that were the case, then the time to move will be
the same as in copying. But when you only move files and folders to a
different location but within the same drive, then it will only take a few
seconds.
Sorry but it could never be the case. One cannot put files into "oblivion"
by using cut. The OS only actually cuts after doing a paste. More over, it
only cut and paste the very last thing you issued the cut command. You can
press the cut command while browsing files and folders endlessly and you'

I'm a new Apple switcher and I like it very much. Its just been a week since
I got a new Macbook pro and I've been learning fairly quickly if I may say
so myself. I love challenges and this thing about learning the operating
