Downloading Mavericks

Hi I am currently downloading OSX Mavericks v 10.9. It keeps saying downloading and tells me I am on a button that is dimmed. It has been nearly 2 hours. Is this the usual time? How do I found out how far I am through the downloading process, is there a progress indicator I can find? I can't find
