Definitely check the skip inbox checkbox, I didn't do this and it
wasn't until much later in the day that I found the box and had to go
back to edit all my filt

I can say that if you choose an effects plugin, you're usually presented with a
dialog box in which you can specify parameters. Scrubbing is doable although

Try unchecking vo cursor follows mouse pointer, that should get you
all fixed up. Come to think of it, I'd uncheck both vo cursor follows
mouse and mouse follows vo cursor.
