Slight modification to the find instructions: To do the initial find, you do VO
+ F, then subsequent next and previous finds are done using VO + G and VO +
Shift plus g. The one thing about this that gets me is that sometimes I forget

For me, the .dmg file went into my Downloads folder. It’s really tricky to run,
because VO doesn’t do a good job reading the buttons you need, just calling
them images. What I resorted to doing, once I realized the app was open and
running, was to navigate by the keyboard, and I got to first the
date added, I’d like to quickly be able
to go to the file I most recently added. I’ve looked on Apple Support for a
shortcut, but can’t find one. Does that mean there simply isn’t any?

I think that the problem is that, by default, the root user is disabled. On
older versions, Apple says you can go into the Directory utility, and from
there once you type in your local password you can do Edit > Enable root
user, and you're fine. Under Sonoma, the Directory Utility doesn't see

Which Option key are you using? I was always in the habit of using right
option, and I, too, thought it was broken after the upgrade. Try pressing
Left-Option T and see if that works. If so, go to VoiceOver Utility,
commanders, Keyboard commander. There’s an option for using either left or
righ
If you go to Network Preferences, and select Wi-Fi from the Services table.
From there, your Mac should discover your network and you can enter whatever
credentials you need to connect.

To the right of the services table, there should be an “add service” button.
Wi-Fi is already set up on my Mac so I can’t verify, but if you press the Add
Services button, hopefully Wi-Fi is one that you could add. If not, I’ll have
to defer to someone in the group who may have more experiences
. Has anyone else tried
doing this, and if you’ve gotten it to work, how?
