I like Key Remap for Macbook. It allows me to use caps lock as the VO key in OS
X, and the JAWS key in Windows in Fusion. The one down side to this is that you

Antonio, the only way I am aware of to do this is to use the Record to New

on-board sound, but the default sound output device has been set to something

Hi Bill, m sets a marker at the insertion point, p sets it at the play head. So
it may be that you're not routing the insertion point to the play head before
setting your marker with m. For most tasks, p is way easier, it involves fewer
keystrokes.

Hi Angus, I suspect the bank's system isn't interpreting Skype's tones
correctly. I have seen this happen on systems occasionally.

Hi Gabriel. The most reliable way of doing this that I've found is to move the
insertion point to the play head, then press command-G. This brings up the "go
to" dialog and the position is reported there.
