In pages, how do I move from a comment or a change into the body of the text?
Is there a way to get VO to announce these things as I am reading the text? I
can see the list of changes and comments, just have no idea where they go in
the document.

I can't speak to the accessibility from an instructor's point of view, but both
my grad school and current employer use blackboard as a way of posting info.
Most things are accessible, even though some may be cumbersome. Finding files
to download and announcements are fairly simple to do. Pos
on the mac is to close the spell check
window and find where the cursor is in the document, which is only sometimes
reliable. Maybe I'm not doing it right though…

Why not just hit VO+Shift+End (VO+Shift+ FN+Right Arrow on my Macbook Pro)? As
long as you don't interact with the To and CC fields, this should take you
straight to the body. Just interact with it and start typing.

Hi Phil,
My mistake if I misunderstand you, but when you use chromevox, you do not use
the standard VO commands or even need to interact with a web page. I would use
safari to look up the Chrome Vox commands to learn how to navigate using
chromevox. It takes some getting used to.

The header section is where you put anything you want at the top of the page,
especially recurring text such as your last name. This is a great place for
your name and it is where the page number will go. Footers are for things like
footnotes.
Add page numbers by going into Insert
The text page of the inspector has three tabs. The one with spacing is also
called text.

If you downloaded one of the html5 converters, you will need to navigate to the

Many times Safari will open a pdf in its own window. It will be a scroll area.
If the pdf has not been OCR'd it will appear blank. At this point you can go
to the file menu and click save as and it will give you the option to save the
pef to your computer.

There is no ok button in the inspector. Just change what you need and close
the inspector and it will be done automatically. You can reopen the inspector
to check and see if the changes stayed.

Unarchiver works well with daisy books too. The built-in archive utility does
not work for bookshare books. Someone else could probably explain why but I

I had this problem as well. For some reason, the update screen for piano pub
seems to be completely inaccessible from within the app. I had to get sighted
assistance to click on the update button and now it works fine again.
Installing the newest version would fix this as well.
I have been able to click with the trackpad. Make sure the trackpad commander
is turned off and that the mouse cursor follows the VO cursor. Also, be sure
to give it a double click.
