Hi David,
It's a bug apparently. Jonathan Mosen mentions it in his "iOS 7 without the
Eye" book.

Hi Brian,
YOu may want to try and experiment with background refresh. YOu can control
whether individual apps refresh in the background or not. I believe the idea
of this feature is to save you time when opening apps, and the phone will learn
your routines for doing this so that the apps refr
ht be draining the battery.

Hi Daniel,
I like Cyberduck though I'd recommend getting it from the developer website
rather than the Appstore as it is a paid-for app in the store whereas you can
choose to donate if you download it from the website.
You can get it from http://cyberduck.ch

Hi Mark,
Airdrop lets you transfer things between Apple devices. The version for iOS
will only let you transfer between other Airdrop-enabled iOS devices.
If you have enabled Airdrop, you can transfer data from some of the apps that
have sharing ability such as Contacts and Safari.

Hi,
I've just installed QCast on my MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion.
I have subscribed to a couple of podcasts and downloaded some episodes.
However, I get no sound when I try to play them.
The volume is reportedly set to 70% and the podcast position slider moves
suggesting that the softwar
Hi Mary,
Once you've activated the pop up menu, press left and right arrows together to
turn quicknav off. First letter navigation should work now, I've just tried it
on Amazon.

Hi,
I'm having a problem whereby some MP3 files won't stream in Safari on my
MacBook Pro running Mountain Lion.
Some stream without any problem, such as podcasts on Applevis, but some won't,
such as files on CAVI. However, I can stream them all on my MacBook Air
without any problems.

Hi,
Allowing apps from anywhere to be installed should fix this.

Hi,
I saw a thread earlier in the week suggesting that the latest version of
Outlook was accessible using Voiceover under OSX.
However, I can’t find any references online to anything more recent than
Outlook 2011, and when I search for Outlook in the App Store, I can’t find it.
Is Outlook 2011
Hi Juliet,
Command S should let you search for podcasts.
It may be worth restarting to see if you get any more contents as I’m fairly
sure it should have some windows even before you’ve downloaded or subscribed to
something.

Hi,
Please could someone give me step-by-step instructions for following a user
with Yorufukuru?
I have found the user I wish to follow with command u, and have pressed the
Drawer button on the toolbar. However, when I select a tweet from the table, I
can’t seem to find a user actions menu.

Hi,
I have an external hard drive that I’d like to read and write to on both Mac
and Windows.
I found an oldish article (from 2012) suggesting that I could use either NTFS
software on Mac or HFS+ software on Windows to accomplish this, rather than
dealing with the drawbacks of using FAT32.

Hi matt,
You can just about use VO and Safari to compose and read Google Docs. There
are some fairly annoying issues (at least on my system), E.G. when you navigate
by whatever textual unit, you get the sound you get when you try to navigate
passed the top or bottom of a web page. By default,

Hi,
I was wanting to read tweets that used a particular hash tags using the above
program.
How do I do this? I wasn’t sure reading the Yorufukuru menus, but I chose the
search (command f) feature. This just appeared to show the instances of the
hashtags in my timeline, when I wanted to see th
