Mary, The Apple TV is one way sharing, i.e. the Apple TV can see your iTunes and iPhoto library and stream them, but the Mac does not stream anything from the Apple TV box. The Apple TV box has 8gb of storage, but this storage is only used for applications and buffering video content from iTun
