I can't wait for some audio from the iPad's voiceover is put up. How does the
speaker sound? Who's daring enough to upload a quick mp3?

They aren't going to put AMD processors in any of their laptops. They've
already got the best tuned graphics performance with NVIDIA combined with best
energy efficiency with Intel. AMD's upcoming processor might go in the iMac if

If your mini is a 2009 model, the usual Mini-DVI to Video adapter won't work.
They've removed all analog video support from this port. I'm still
investigating a mini DisplayPort to VGA to composite option.

I set up some keyboard shortcuts for certain actions in Skype. It takes a
little while to figure out exactly how the menu commands are spelled, but it's
worth it. You have to be in a Skype window to use them though. Really speeds
things up.

M, Mac Pro.If I had a new I7 Mac Pro, that'd be fantastic. I know it would
be sacrilegious, but I'd run my Windows music production software on it. Also,
the towers are cool looking.

In the review, I could've sworn I heard Cydia spoken. It was when he went to
page two of his apps. It's probably jailbroken and unlocked in that case.

I really don't think that'll work. As far as I know there isn't a VM that
emulates EFI (extensible firmware interface.) However, I could be wrong.

I've done some further testing. Using the new 2009 model Mac Mini, I hooked up
the Mini-DVI to video adapter and launched Safari and browsed a few pages.
Then, I unplugged the adapter and restarted the Mini. Once again, I launched
Safari. It was quite unresponsive. It appears this adapter still

all our DVDs on an external drive so no one would have to pull a DVD from a

I like using Cog. This is a liteweight, snappy audio player that plays FLAC and
OGG Vorbis, among many others. It's totally accessible with VoiceOver. You can
get it from http://www.cogx.org
