Hi all,
While I’m in Italy, I’ll be taking language classes. I may have a need to
convert pdfs to text, and I’m hoping to do it on either my phone or my iPad.
Anyone have a recommendation for an app that will do this? I know ABBYY will,
but it seems kind of like overkill.
Cheers,
Donna

Hi Donna,
Do you by any chance have Voice Dream Reader? If so, you may be able to use it
to export the text.
Open the pdf file in VDR, then go to the Document menu and choose “Export All
Text”

OK, so now I feel like an idiot for missing the obvious. Lol. Yes, I do have
it, I just never use it for that purpose. Thank you for the reminder.

Thanks Robert and Karen. Robobraille is an interesting suggestion that hadn’t
occurred to me. I own Duxbury, so I’ve never used it before. I just tried a
sample file. It wasn’t problem free, but I chose to convert it to Word. When
I opened it in Pages, Pages inserted text boxes, which made
Hello All,
I have been trying to pair my airpods with my new Iphone 15 pro without any
success. I am not sure of the model of the airpods but I know I bought them
in the fall of 2019. I got them from a vendor that was not Apple. The phone
has IOS 15.5 installed on it.
Any thoughts on if the
Hello Again,
My question(s) this time relate to a MagSafe charging pad for my iphone 15
Pro. Can someone tell me what I need to do to get it charging my phone? Does
the charger need to stay plugged in to charge up before it will charge the
phone? I've never used one of these so am unsure what
Sorry, ignore the below question. I got it working. I had the phone placed on
the sleek feeling side of the charger which was wrong. The back of the phone
needed to be placed on what is the tacky feeling side of the charger.

Hi Eileen,I’m really glad you’re asking these questions about the MagSafe charger. I’ve been thinking about getting one for a long time, and just haven’t taken the plunge. So, though I can’t help you, I’ll be glad to learn from your questions. Good luck!Cheers,DonnaSent from my iPhoneOn May 14, 20
Hi Donna,
Speaking personally, rtf or txt will fair better.
That is likely because of the different flavors of word, and the goal of
robobraille to get items to the simplest format.
Hope that resonates,
Karen

Make sure the AirPods are fully charged .
Next, unlock your iPhone 15 Pro, and have it showing the Home screen.
Now, hold your AirPods near the iPhone, and open the case, with the AirPods in
the case.
An alert should appear on the iPhone screen, with instructions on how to pair
the AirPods with t
