I started using the Apple Journalling app, a couple of days ago, and wow! I
think I'm in love.
I have the app set to automatically make suggestions, based on my activity,
throughout the day, and boy is it thorough. These suggestions are excellent

The only restart I know is long press of the power button followed by
double tap on screen, as Power Off is the default action on the menu
there. Note I also have no VO on this menu.
I guess I need to reinstall the app because I am indeed on 17.2.1.

You might want to try restarting VoiceOver.
You can do this by asking Siri to turn VoiceOver off, then asking Siri to turn
VoiceOver back on.
Sometimes cycling VoiceOver off and then back on corrects all kinds of issues.

keyboard works as expected.

1 be sure the app is installed, so we can use app cleaner to uninstall it.
2 open app cleaner
3 press command plus O
4 Select the app to uninstall and hit enter
5 it should show a table with related files, for me it found 4 files.
6 Now press the remove button.

I ran the app cleaner, deleted the Hermes files, dumped the trash and
redownloaded Hermes and opened it. nothing appeared to happen although I’ve
been through this a couple of times and apparently the files all get put back
in there. once a notification popped up asking if I wanted to allow
not
Are there any system alerts open?
Press control plus option plus F1 twice to check.
When trying to open the app, press control option shift M,
Then choose open.
Or check to see if it’s being blocked in system preferences and Privacy.
