Hi all,
We are thinking about getting smart light bulbs for our kitchen. Does anyone
have a recommendation? Bright is better for me.
Thanks,
Donna

Hi!
If you have a desktop keyboard with numpad you can also control VoiceOver via
the numpad keys.
I tend to do that more and more.

Phillips Hue are the best and I have several of them. Recently, over
Christmas, I switched a lot of my smart lighting to in-wall switches. I went
with the Lutron Diva, which is part of the Caseta line.
If you go with in-wall, you will need to install them. The nice thing about
the in-wall sw
Hi Jeff,
That’s hysterical. My husband would be the luddite - he’s convinced that Siri
doesn’t like him.
One of the reasons we’re thinking about doing this is because our house has
entirely too many light switches, and I’m sick of running around the kitchen
getting the lights turned on or off
Hello,
I have an Apple watch SE and an iPhone SE 2020 both running the latest software.
My sleep schedule is set to 22:56 until 6:56. Sleep tracking usually produces
plausible sleep durations and usually terminates sleep tracking around 6:56.
However it sometimes ends sleep tracking prematurely f
Hi Paul,
I don’t have premature sleep termination, but I do hopefully have a tip re
haptic time. I have a series 6. On my watch, I can tap the face once, wait
about a half second, then tap twice for haptic time. This works reliably for
me.

That has been the nature of things since Twitter started pulling the

Donna,
Wow, you are lucky. I might have turned off Taptic time, because it always
seemed to go off when I didn’t want it and never when I did. I have an Apple
Watch SE, since did not feel the need for an always on display or a blood
oxygen monitor.
Just to make sure I understand your process

Hi folks.
As the subject says, I’m trying to do this with foobar2000.
The shortcut I want to add is called. Load Playlist …
I’ve written that in the menu, and added the key I wanted, but still know luck.
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Jonathan,
Sorry, I may have created some confusion. I assumed Paul was trying to use
Taptic time when sleep focus was on. That’s the time when I usually use it.
During the day, I just let VO speak the time, unless I’m in a meeting.
The process I described is the one I use when sleep focus
Hi all,
Since the recent upgrade, I cannot seem to get dictation to work in messages.
I tap Dictate. Sometimes I get the haptic feedback to indicate dictation has
started, sometimes not. When I do get it, I try and dictate. I’ve then tried
both double tapping and scrolling down to the botto
Sorry, I’m not sure what you are attempting to do. Are you trying to add a
keyboard shortcut for a menu in a specific application?
Or are you trying to get a shortcut in the shortcuts app to have a keyboard
shortcut.

Did you read the article?
The difference here is that now it is an *official* part of developer
policy, instead of Twitter leading up to the change.

You might try turning on voice control. Dictation does not happen
automatically, as far as I know. But I think it would be better to turn on
voice control. I think this is done on purpose to keep peoples machines from
turning on dictation by mistake. Or having it start in the background. Without
I did, it looks like an article I read about a week ago that also said Twitter
updated it’s terms. All I know is that right now, Tweesecake still works and
when I was on Windows TWBlue still did. Maybe they’ll drop tomorrow, maybe they
won’t. Twiter did let me authorize an account the other day
Thanks, Maurice. There is a dictation button in the messages app. It used to
work, even though the interface was a little clunky.
Cheers,

I cannot speak to your speculations.
however, given the article's publication date is 27 Jan, your reading
before publication is unlikely.

The article I’m referring too is one from the Verge about a week ago. It
indicated that Twitter had updated it’s terms. This was days after they ppulled
the support.

I’m not using an M1 Mac, but will be upgrading to one shortly. However, I have
been noticing with the last couple of updates that the whole workbook area has
become really quirky. Where I used to simply be able to navigate the rows
using the arrow keys and simply type in them, now I have to do
Better off using the two-finger double tap to start and stop dictation.
