Ok so Saturday night I reimaged my Mac mini with Yosemite,
Now when I start it up I get the message that it's trying to find Bluetooth
devices like touch pad or mouse.
However when I get rid of this message I get no speech automatically from
Voiceover so I turn it off and then on u

bought it for my I phone years ago but couldn’t get the hang of it and this was
before Keychain came along. It’s still in my app collection but I have never

Last night I ventured to use Calculator on my I Mac as I had always used the
Calculator on my I phone. What ever I did, I could not find the subtract,
multiply but could find the Plus. I even put the Keyboard help on with VO K as
I thought I’d get to know where the multiply was. So if

Keyboard / is for division.

First of all, you're making this way harder than it has to be.
Open up Calculator.
Now, hit vo+M to go to your menu bar, and go to the speech menu. In here,
check both options. The first is speak button pressed, and the second is speak
result.
Now, simply type the equasion on your keyboard.
Just remember though, in order for it to announce the results, you first have
to go in the menu bar to the speech menu, and check the option to speak result.

I am still running maverics and somehow my menu extras has gotten set so that
when I do the VO m command twice to get to it, it goes in to the spotlight
search and keeps repeating "no items" over and over. I am no longer able to
arrow through the items in that menu such as battery level
There is another way of accessing menu extras which is by pressing control
function F8. See if this works.
