Hi Simon,
Just one more thing: where did you obtain windows iso file? And also, can you
remember at which stage you choose your flash drive for for windows and
drivers? And did you have to donwload any additional drivers yourself? My
macbook air is late 2010.
Many thanks

Are you placing your hand flat against the watch face or placing the watch face
flat against any surfaces? There’s a mute gesture that’s hold your hand over
the face to mute. I’m sure you’ve considered this but it’s the only thing I
could think of in the off chance you hadn’t.
Thanks

Yep. I often slap the watch to shut it up, and it works. However I’m fairly
sure that is only intended to silence the watch, not enable the muting of
sounds permanently. I hope I’m not wrong about that.

You’re a bit off, if you hold your hand flat over the face or cover the face
for 3 seconds or more it mutes the watch. Sounds stop but VO persists so you
can reenable. If you slap the watch and hold to long you’ll enable mute.

Hello Janina,
It’s been a long time!
I just tried the link and typed a number in that field. Use the tab key. No
need to use that interacting behaviour.
I don’t know what version you were using but I was using my 2013 Air still
running Yosemite
All the best

There is another Braille embosser which works with the Mac and it does not use
any kind of drivers. You just plug in your USB port and it’s ready to print.
More information can be found at www.siteandsound.co.uk and they ship

Hi,
I’m experimenting with sonos and what you can and can’t do with it and i want
to ask the sonos gurus out there if it’s possible for us to add songs from a
music service such as Spotify to a playlist not on Sonos but on the service
like to a spotify play list?If this is the case, then how do
It is for audio editing only. However, one neat thing you can do is to edit
videos in the Apple format. Like cut out sections of film etc.

Yes, I agree that the phone needs to be on speaker. I find t

Make sure the camera is above the document or object, about 6-8 inches
(15-20 CM), or about the distance from your elbow to your hand. So, put
your elbow on a flat surface, and hold the phone as noted. Start by
putting the phone flat against the object if possible, then raising it
up to the pos

Hi all,
I've just started using a mac so sorry if my information is vague.
in voiceOver preferences in El Capitan there is a feature for voice ducking.
This is on by default and will cause VO volume to change.
If you untick the button this should stop it from changing.
It did for me once I upgra
True, but, allow me to point out the fact that this shift in Voice Over volume
should NOT be happening. Audio ducking does not (when properly implemented)
have any effect on the volume of Voice over: but rather, the other audio such
