Afternoon everyone! Before I got this new Macbook Pro, fellow list member and my friend Christopher Hallsworth said that you can use FaceTime on the Mac for phone calls. How do I achieve this? I want to surprise my friend John Haill at some point. But see he is out an awful lot, so need to ring

Hi, First thing, if you want to place a call over wifi using the cell connection on your iPhone, you need to enable this in FaceTime preferences. So check iPhone cellular calls. If you just want to use face time audio though, when you press the FaceTime audio button, and the pop up appears, se

Greetings. I'm looking to finally upgrade my (ancient) late 2011 MacBook Pro. Assume for a moment that the unit will need to occasionally run Windows under a VM, in order to support Visual Studio, Xamarin .NET development for iOS/Mac OS X, and the ability to connect back to a Mac for debugging.
