You'll need to add an output block to the chain. This not only lets you
monitor, but you could send the audio to a different sound card, or only
monitor some audio sources, or other options. Until you do that though, the
record block will eat the audio and make it sound like your machine is mute
What NAS system do you have?
How are you syncing to dropbox on the NAS, is it a built in feature into your
NAS?

I have the Synology DS214Play. Yes, Dropbox syncing built in. The web UI is
outrageously bad but the iOS apps are all fully accessible. Here's my blog post

Morning everyone!
First off, this might be a long E-mail So my apologies.
I’ve got some exciting news to tell you all.
Yesterday I ordered with the help of Neil my brother a new 13 inch Mac Book Pro.
Check this out for a laptop.
8GB of RAM I think it is a quad core processor but not sure and a 12
How do I monitor all sources but the Mic after adding the block? I added the
block, which is the same as my Mic because it is a headset mic, but it’s just
connected not really doing anything. I can change the output device but I don’t
want to do that…
The advanced options I can flip the channels
Hi Chris,
What your friend is talking about is the new standerd thaP Apple is now using
called USB C. You basicly have a USB port that is used for charging. I do
not have a MBP so can’t help you there, but if you google it, you will find
information on this and I think a lot of computers are
The simples thing I can think of is to simply add output blocks right after
each of the sources you want to monitor. This shouldn't mess with the recording
connections in any way, but I haven't personally tried it. Perhaps Jonathan
Mosen can jump in here, as he uses this app far more than I do.
Hi Alex,
This is the first time I have had a chance to rescan the computer with Clamxav.
I just want to confirm if I’m doing this correctly. I get a table of 21
infected files in a table. I interact with it and press Control-A to select
all. I open the contextual menu with VO-Shift-M and arrow
Hi all, when organise by conversation is checked, in the mail app. Are any of

underneath them.
Am not sure if its to do with the VO activity I set up to reduce that

Hi,
I have the same machine and do not experience the fan business like you’ve
mentioned. My Mail is also set to thread conversations.

The 7zip method works fairly reliably, although I certainly wouldn’t count on
it. Stick to open, documented formats.
iOS betas are now distributed in ZIP files, for what that’s worth. Apparently,
Apple can take a hint. :)

I've got the 2014 macbook pro 15 inch Chris and, the power pack and the bit
you plug in isn't so very different from the old one.
I'm sure you won't have any problems with the new one.
It is a slightly different shape but tha one I have does still have the
magnet.
Cheers,

As I understand it, you would quarantine (or just delete, if you know these are
files you won't miss). I normally then open the quarantine folder, which you
can find in the app's preferences, and delete the files from there.

I have gone into the mail viewing menu and everything which mentions
conversations is dimmed. If I select them nothing happens. I have never had

Currently, USBC is only in the new MacBook. This is a 12 inch display on a very
thin and light computer. The keyboard is a little different. The USBC poart is
the only port in the machine. It is most strongly built for wireless. It has
the same speakers as the MacBook Pro 13, the newest of the M
Dear Alex,
Thank you so much for your work on this and other podcasts on the various apple
related apps. You explain things very thoroughly, and cover the basics. I also
heard your posts on voice dream writer, which was very good as well. keep up
the good work.

Hi everyone,
