In many web browsers, you can export your favorites to an XML or hTML file and
then import this to Safari. I've done this between various browsers, but not
this specific process. You might do some searching around for

Hello Chris,
Have you reset the PRAM and repaired permissions? It isn't usually necessary to

There is a much simpler solution for this. On windows, you have the folder

Hi Don and all,
I guess you can teach an old person new tricks. The reason why I will bring up

Hi there
Another option I like is to copy the file using Finder with Command c and then
using command V to paste it in. However, don't do what I did recently and press

Tim,
When I first got the Mac I dont recall settng the login password
when I set the Mac up. So I reset it in Terminal.
When I tried to work on this yesterday, I had 3 buttons to choose.
Continue login. Create new keychain. Think the third also had to do with

Tim,
Got it using the Create a New Keychain option. Now I need to change
an option so I do not have to enter the login password each time I boot

Hi,
If I'm understanding correctly, you'd like your computer to go directly to your
Desktop without a Login screen. That's not a recommended behaviour because if
your machine is stolen or accessed by someone else, they have easy access to
all your personal files. Now, if that isn't a concern
Tim,
Valid points and I should consider that the Mac being a portable
device, I ought to leave it in a secure state.
I may have disabled VO somehow at login so if I turn it back on,
logins will be easier and heck, can just leave the macnine running all day.
