Are you sure you have the write side down? Only one side of most CDs is
writable. If it really is failing on multiple disks maybe you got a bad
batch. I have a spindle of discs right now which is having about a 50%
fail rate, which is unusual. I usually have one or two in a hundred
fail. If you have more blank CDs from the same set, can you try burning
one or two on another machine just to find out if you have a bad batch?
