Hi, all! Does anyone know if the logos bible program is accessible with
VoiceOver either on the Mac or the iPad? I could use this program, or at least
something like it for Bible-studies and such things, cause I'm going to a Bible
college. I have three bible programs on my computer, and none of

Hmm. My Braille Edge is functioning fine with Bluetooth and Mavericks.
I didn't get to test the Braille Sense products yet. The Mac I tried
this on had never been paired with the Edge before, so I'm not sure if
the problem is speratic or what.

Don’t panic. Your sounds are being effected by audio ducking. What this means
is that when voice over speaks, the regular Mac sounds get ducked under. This
is the same as with the Iphone. Should you wish to turn this off, you need
only go to the Voice Over utilities under the soudns tab. The

i am successfully using Mail under Mavericks. I have a Gmail account set up via
pop/smtp. I also told Mail to never remove messages from the server, since this
is not my primary machine, the Macbook Pro I mean.

notification thing. I had do not disturb on last night, and it still does it.

me back !the first message when new mail comes in. This is in conversation
view. So your behaviour in Mavericks is nothing different or new if you are in

That’s right. that’s why I stopped using conversation view. I had forgotten

and any other audio simultaneously. The thing is, they are record in separate

Last I checked, these programs were not very accessible, but there is a
work around. If you go to http://biblia.com you can log in with your
email address and password and read your purchased books in your web
browser. If you do this on a desktop computer, choose the option to

vo on the heading, route the mouse to it, then move the mouse over to the right
until clicking would remove what I was wanting.

Yep sure. It’s on the Dictation tab of Speech and Dictation in System
Preferences. You need to click on the Enhanced Dictation check box and you
should be good to go.

Yes. Command shift right arrow is pretty inconsistant for me . I usually
stick to going to next chapter via the Go To menu.

Since they are brf files, if you want to read them in your Mac, first load into
TextEdit. You have to have a braille display. Then, and you may want to make a
copy before you do this, select all the text and do a transformation by going
to EDIT, and going down arrow until you find TRANSFORMATION
I love American Braille. So that's not a problem. Thank you for the
