Hi All,
I have forgotten, if I ever knew, how to activate a clickable object on a web
page using Voiceover. Would somebody be so kind as to enlighten me?

If vo-space doesn't work, use the mouse. While vo is on the object, press
vo-cmd-f5 to put the mouse pointer on the object, then physically click the
mouse. If you don't have a mouse, press vo-shift-space to simulate a click.

Do you have your iPhone in a case?
I bought an inexpensive case for my 4S and I didn't have this problem until I
switched cases. When I put the phone next to my head, the screen doesn't
automatically turn off and VO announces the call length every few seconds.

Hi Folks,
I'm not sure if this made the list the first time, but if anyone is using
ZoomText successfully on the Mac, could you please contact me off list. I was
asked about its functionality, and I have no way of using it.
Thank you

Hi.
I recently downloaded Twitterrific but have yet to create a Twitter account.
While I have read some articles on Twitter etiquette, I have yet to come across

Hey all,
I have been loving the content from Blind Mice Moves, but don't always have the
time to watch a whole movie, and have been using iTunes to listen to the
movies, and have the remember checkbox position checked in iTunes for the movie
track, but that never seems to work.

You don't need to change anything. Go to the message in the messages table, and
then press vo-m. Arrow right to the file menu, then down arrow to open it, and
keep moving down until you find "save attachments". Press enter, and pick where
you want the files to be saved just like you were in the

Hi all,
As they say, curiosity killed the cat. So, I hope this bit of curiosity isn't
fatal. How is it that, one minute, a thread has a subject like, "Writing
Documents In TextEdit", then, after a few replies, the subject changes subtly,
and comes something like, "TextEdit 101 (was Writing Docu
No, it's manual. I imagine a script could make this more automated, but I don't
know. Either way, it is just someone editing the "subject" field before they
send their reply to a thread.

Hi,
In iTunes, try selecting the Songs button so that all items are listed. Now if
you press return after entering the Search criteria. it should allow you to
navigate to the Music Table at the bottom right of the iTunes screen. Interact
with the Music Table and you should then be able to pr
Hi all,
Radium 3, the internet radio playing app for the Mac, is on sale through the

I posted the deal up at AppleVis, and you can also find a demo podcast there

Thanks Tim and Alex. You have both been very helpful. I think I can
manage making the change on the mac and not bothering with gmail. I only use
one machine so no worries about syncing anything.
Thanks again,

Does anyone know of a contacts app that is more streamlined than the one
currently on the i phone?
I find this one cumbersome to use and navigate. The part about adding a new
contact is ok. But then there are to many choices getting in the way. I don't
need to send anyone a fax, I don't
Hello Jean. Just add the information you need for your contacts and save them.
If you don't have a fax number you won't see any reference to it after saving
your contacts.

We don't know that yet. I know they are testing/developing it, but no details
have been released. When it hits, it will be everywhere, so you definitely
won't miss it.

It's still in development, that's all we know at this point unless I'm missing

Hi,
On your Mac, make sure, in system Prefs, in the iCloud pane, that you have
Calendars syncing. Also, make sure, on your iPhone, in Mail, Contacts and
Calendars, that you have Calendars set to sync with that specific account. You
can also check on this in the iCloud pane within Settings.

Hi Jean,
If you set up both your iPhone and Mac to use the same Apple ID with iCloud,
then you can easily sync the Contacts on your Mac over to the iPhone through
iCloud. I'm a much faster typer on the Mac than on my iPhone so when entering
large amounts of contact info, I simply enter it on t
Hi all,
I have a mailbox where I've stored about seventy messages.
Is there an easy way to save these as text files without having to open each

I'm running SL on a white macbook.

Hi all,
I'm finalizing the battery script for my project, and I noticed something odd.
There's still a time estimate when my Macbook is charging, but it's shorter
than the estimate given when the Mac is not charging. Is the one given when
charging an estimate of how long the battery will take to
Hi,
Yes, when the laptops are charging, the time readout is the amount of time
until the battery is fully charged whereas when it is simply running on battery
power, that is the amount of time left of usable charge.

Hi, Jessica,
You don't have to play with a bunch of other people on the collective level.
You can buy quantum cell packs within the app, or you can continue to play the
lower levels until you collect a huge number of cells, at which point you can
convert them to artifacts. I didn't play the col
Okay, thanks. I've really only ever used desktops, so wasn't sure what that
time was for. In the script, as long as you know it is "charging" or "not
charging", I don't need to state what the time is for, right? I mean, if you
heard something like,
90%, 1:10, charging
or
50%, 2:16, not charging
